Battle of New Orleans 1814-15 - 7-10 January 2016

Under the auspices of the 7th US Infantry Living History Association and the Louisiana Living History Foundation, a detachment of the 95th Rifles Living History Society representing 1st Battalion 95th (Rifle) Regiment of Foot (1/95) will be participating with our American 1/95th friends in No 2 Company in the 201st Anniversary celebrations of the Battle of New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.

This battle was a series of engagements fought between December 23, 1814, through January 8, 1815 and was the final major battle of the War of 1812. This event will focus on the night battle of 23 December 1814.
