95th Rifles Living History Society representing 1st Battalion 95th (Rifle) Regiment of Foot (1/95) will be participating in the recreation of the Seige of Burgos, Spain, (19 September - 21 October, 1812) which involved the British/Portuguese Army under Duke of Wellington in the Peninsular War. The castle finally surrended after a second seige during 10-12 June, 1813.
As well as various parades, services of remembrance, the agenda includes re-enactment battles at the actual battle locations.
